Foldbook is a local reading app: three original short stories built in, with a night, day, or sepia reading theme. It cannot open your own files.
Please note. The books in Foldbook's library are original short stories written for the app, not real published titles. Foldbook cannot open your own files — there's no EPUB, PDF, or comic support, and no way to add books.

- Does Foldbook need an account?
- No. There's no sign-in, no account — just open the app and start reading.
- Can I add my own books?
- No. Foldbook cannot open your own files — there's no EPUB, PDF, or comic support, and no way to add books. It only reads the stories built into the app.
- What are the stories in the library?
- Three original short stories written for the app, bundled in so there's something to read immediately. They aren't real published books.
- Will my reading progress be saved?
- Yes. Foldbook saves where you stopped in each story separately, along with any pages you bookmarked and your theme and font size — all on your device. Reopen a story and it returns to the page you were on. If a position doesn't hold between sessions, tell us which story and device.
- Is there anything to buy?
- No. Foldbook is free, with every feature unlocked — no subscription, no in-app purchase, no account.
- Something's broken. How do I report it?
- Email us with: (1) your device and iOS version, (2) what you were doing, (3) what you expected versus what happened, and (4) a screenshot. That usually points us straight at it.
