Privacy Policy for RizzMaxx

This Privacy Policy explains how RizzMaxx ("RizzMaxx," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the RizzMaxx mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
The App is operated by Baker Ventures LLC.
1. The short version
- RizzMaxx does not require an account. We do not ask for your name as an identifier, email, or phone number to use the App.
- Most of your data — your progress, stats, streaks, quiz history, and settings — is stored only on your device and is never sent to us.
- When you use AI features (practice conversations, profile and photo analysis — including photos of yourself in Rate My Look — and the other coaching tools), the text, screenshots, and photos you submit are sent to our server and then to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate a response. We do not use this content to build a profile of you or sell it.
- Payments are handled by Apple. We never receive your credit card or full payment details.
2. Information we collect
2.1 Information you actively submit for AI processing
To provide the App's AI-powered features, the content you choose to submit is transmitted to our backend server and forwarded to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to generate a result. Depending on the feature you use, this content includes:
- Practice conversations — the messages you type in roleplay practice sessions, so the AI character can respond and so we can generate ratings, hints, and end-of-session feedback.
- Coaching and "Ask the Coach" messages — questions and chat text you send to get advice.
- Photos of yourself — for Rate My Look, you take or upload one or more photos of yourself (which may show your face and body) so the AI can score and give feedback on controllable aspects of your presentation, such as lighting, styling, grooming, and framing. For Photo Ranker and Looks Coaching, you upload photos of yourself; for Rate My Profile, you upload screenshots of your own dating profile (which typically include photos of yourself).
- Screenshots of profiles and conversations — for Decode Her Profile, Reply to Her Text, Conversation Rescue, and the Profile Analyzer, you upload screenshots that may contain another person's profile, photos, or messages, so the AI can analyze them and suggest a response.
- Your own message and profile text — for Rate My Text and the Bio Reviewer, you submit message drafts, bios, or profile text for review.
Important — photos of yourself (Rate My Look and related features): Some features ask you to provide photos of your own face and body. When you do, those images are sent to our backend server and on to Anthropic to generate your feedback, the same way as any other content you submit. We do not use them to identify you, to build a profile of you, or for any purpose other than returning your result, and they are not retained by us in a database (see Sections 4 and 6). Providing these photos is entirely optional — the feature only runs when you choose to add a photo.
This content is processed to produce your result and is not used to identify you. Please avoid submitting sensitive personal information (your own or others') that you do not want processed by an AI service. You are responsible for the content you choose to submit, including screenshots that may contain another person's information.
2.2 Information stored only on your device
The following is saved locally on your device (using the operating system's standard local storage) and is not transmitted to our servers:
- A display name and onboarding answers you optionally enter during setup.
- Your goals, and optional age range and U.S. state preferences.
- Your progress and gameplay data: streaks, session counts, Rizz Scores, XP, levels, session history, study/quiz history, and daily missions.
- App settings: selected theme, "brutal mode," notification preferences, and a locally generated referral code.
- Subscription status flags used to unlock paid features on your device.
- A local, on-device activity log used for debugging, capped to the most recent entries.
Because this data lives on your device, deleting the App removes it.
2.3 Purchase information
If you subscribe, the transaction is processed by Apple through the App Store and (where applicable) our subscription-management provider, RevenueCat. We receive confirmation of subscription status but do not receive your payment card number or billing address.
2.4 Device permissions
- Camera and Photo Library — requested so you can take or select photos and screenshots for the App's photo-based features, including Rate My Look (photos of yourself), Photo Ranker, Looks Coaching, Rate My Profile, the Profile Analyzer, and the screenshot-based Wingman tools. The App accesses your camera or photo library only when you actively take or choose a photo for one of these features; it does not scan your library in the background.
2.5 What we do not collect
We do not collect or request: account credentials, email address, phone number, contacts, precise GPS location, health data, browsing history, or advertising identifiers. The App does not contain third-party advertising or ad-tracking SDKs.
2.6 Automatic technical processing (IP address)
When your device contacts our backend to use an AI feature, our server and hosting provider transiently process your device's IP address to route the request and to enforce rate limits that protect the service against abuse and excessive use. We do not use IP addresses to identify you or build a profile of you, and we do not retain them for that purpose.
3. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- Generate AI responses, ratings, hints, feedback, profile analyses, and bio reviews.
- Save your progress, stats, and preferences on your device.
- Provide and restore access to paid features.
- Maintain, debug, and improve the App's reliability.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the content you submit to serve advertising.
4. How information is shared
We share information only as needed to run the App:
- Anthropic (AI provider). Content you submit for AI features (messages, screenshots, bios) is sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response. Anthropic processes this data to return a result. Per Anthropic's commercial API terms, API inputs and outputs are not used to train its models. See Anthropic's privacy practices at https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy.
- Apple. Handles in-app purchases and subscription billing.
- RevenueCat (if/when enabled). Manages and verifies subscription entitlements.
- Our hosting provider. Our backend runs on a third-party cloud host that processes requests in transit. Our backend acts as a stateless relay: it forwards your request to the AI provider and returns the response, and is not designed to store the content of your conversations, screenshots, or bios in a database.
- Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or property.
5. AI processing — important disclosures
The App uses generative AI. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable, and is provided for entertainment and self-improvement practice only — it is not professional, psychological, legal, or relationship advice. Do not rely on it as such. When you upload a screenshot of another person's profile, you are responsible for ensuring you have any rights necessary to do so.
6. Data retention
- On-device data is retained until you delete it within the App (for example, by resetting progress) or uninstall the App.
- AI request content is transmitted to generate your result and is not retained by us in a database. Our AI and hosting providers may retain data transiently for processing, abuse-prevention, and as required by their own policies and applicable law.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encryption of data in transit (HTTPS/TLS) between the App, our server, and our providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
- Access and deletion. Most of your data is on your device and under your control — you can reset your progress in the App or uninstall it to remove local data.
- Permissions. You can revoke camera and photo access anytime in your device Settings (the related features will stop working).
- Subscriptions. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID subscription settings.
- Regional rights. Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal information, and to not be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell personal information. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
9. Children's privacy
RizzMaxx is rated 17+ and is intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. International users
The App may be used from outside the country where our providers operate. Content submitted for AI processing may be processed in the United States or other countries that may have different data-protection laws than your own. By using the App, you understand your information may be transferred and processed in those locations.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
