DenialDesk is an on-device health-insurance and medical-bill appeal assistant built by Baker Ventures LLC. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it.
DenialDesk stores everything you enter on your own device. We do not operate a server that receives your claims, letters, or personal information, and we do not sell or share your data, because we never have a copy of it to begin with.
That is the complete list. In particular, the app has nothing to sell: it is free, contains no in-app purchase, and so never reads a purchase record, a receipt, or a store account from Apple, Google, or any purchase service.
We do not collect your name, health information, financial information, or claim details on any server. We do not use analytics or advertising SDKs that track you across apps or websites. If that changes in a future version, this policy — and the app’s Privacy Nutrition Label and Data safety section — will be updated to say exactly what changed and why.
Deadline reminders are generic by design (“N days left on an appeal deadline — open the app for details”) and never include your claim label, denial type, provider name, or any other claim-specific text, even though the app has that information locally. This is deliberate: a locked-screen notification is not a private place to show health or billing details.
Your claim data is shared with no one — it never leaves your device, so there is no recipient at all. The app is free with nothing to unlock, so it has no reason to talk to Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or any other purchase or analytics service, and it doesn’t.
Using this app does not create any professional relationship. See the in-app disclaimer, shown on every screen with denial-type guidance or a generated letter.
We’ll update the date above and describe what changed whenever this policy changes.
Correction, October 12, 2026. Until today the opening sentence of this page described “DenialDesk” as provisional and said the app’s name had not been settled. That was left over from drafting and was wrong by the time the page went live: the app is named DenialDesk, which is the name on its App Store record and in the app itself. Nothing about how the app handles your data changed — only that sentence.
