FlipStage ("the app") is published by Baker Ventures LLC ("we," "us"). FlipStage turns your phone's screen into a two-pane presenting surface — your notes on one side, your slide on the other — for pitching and presenting face-to-face. This policy explains what the app does with your information. It is short because the app does very little with it.
FlipStage collects nothing. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server of ours for the app to talk to. The photos you import as slides, and the notes you type against them, are used only inside the app on your device, for your current session, and are never transmitted anywhere.
The app does not transmit any information to us or to anyone else. The following stays on your device:
| What is used | Where it comes from | What it is used for |
|---|---|---|
| Photos you choose to import | You pick them from your device's photo library, via the standard system picker | Shown as slides in the deck you build, and displayed full-screen during Present mode |
| Speaker notes you type | You type them against a slide | Shown on your side of the screen while you present, so your audience only sees the slide |
Your deck (the imported slides and notes) lives in the app's memory for as long as the app is open; it is not written to a database the app keeps between launches, and it is never sent anywhere. That is the complete list of what the app touches.
What the app does not collect at all: no name, email address, phone number, or contact detail; no account credentials; no payment or financial information; no location; no contacts, camera, microphone, calendar, or health data; no advertising identifier; no device identifier; no crash reports; no usage or diagnostic telemetry.
No tracking. The app does not track you across apps or websites, does not use an advertising SDK, and does not build or buy a profile about you. Because it collects nothing, there is nothing to sell, and we do not sell or share personal information with anyone, for any purpose, ever.
FlipStage asks for permission to your photo library only so you can pick images to use as slides. It reads only the specific photos you select in the system picker — it does not scan, upload, or otherwise access the rest of your library, and the photos never leave your device.
There are none. The app contains no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising SDK, no attribution SDK, and no backend of ours. It makes no network requests of any kind — it will function identically in airplane mode. No third party receives your data from this app, because the app sends your data to no one.
Retention. Your deck exists only while the app is open on your device. We hold nothing, so there is no retention period on our side to describe and no server copy we could produce.
Deletion. Closing the app or removing a slide clears it. Uninstalling the app removes anything the app itself stored. The original photos you imported remain in your own photo library exactly as before — FlipStage never moves or deletes them there.
Withdrawing consent. Turn off Photos access for FlipStage at any time in your device's Settings. You can still use the app; you just won't be able to import new photos as slides.
FlipStage is a general-purpose presenting tool. It is not directed at children and collects no personal data from anyone of any age.
If the app ever changes what it accesses, stores, or shares, this page will be updated in the same release that makes the change, and the date above will change with it.
