Know what the driving actually paid.

MileTruth keeps a Schedule C-ready mileage log and turns gross earnings into true net pay — after the real cost of running your vehicle.

MileTruth · an app by Baker Ventures LLC

What it does

A mileage log built for the IRS.Business and personal miles, split across 2026's two standard mileage rates and totalled on the line Schedule C asks for — with a checklist that flags any business trip missing a required field.
Gross is not net.Your vehicle costs something every mile: depreciation, fuel, maintenance and tires, insurance. MileTruth subtracts it, so you get true net pay and a real hourly rate instead of a headline number.
Every platform in one place.Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Uber Eats, Instacart, Amazon Flex, Spark and Grubhub side by side — earnings typed in, or imported from a CSV statement.
Classify in one swipe.Swipe a trip right for business, left for personal. Set a home location and any trip that starts and ends there gets a one-tap Personal suggestion instead.
Your data stays on your phone.Trips, earnings and vehicle details live in a database on your own device. There's no account to create and no sign-in.

How it works

  1. Set up your vehicle — pick a class, or enter your own cost per mile.
  2. Classify your trips and record what you earned — a swipe per trip, and earnings typed in or imported from a platform CSV.
  3. Export at tax time — a Schedule C-ready PDF or a CSV of every trip, through your phone's share sheet.

Questions

Do I need an account?
No. There's no sign-up and no sign-in. Your trips, earnings, vehicle and settings are stored on your own device.
Which IRS mileage rate does it use?
2026 has two standard mileage rates — 72.5 cents a mile from January 1 to June 30, and 76 cents from July 1 to December 31. MileTruth applies the rate that belongs to each trip's own date and shows the periods broken out, then totals them on the Schedule C line.
Does it work out what I actually made?
Yes — that's the point of it. It subtracts a per-mile vehicle cost from your gross, tips and bonuses to give you a true net figure and an hourly rate, rather than the gross number the platforms show you.
Can I use it for more than one platform?
Yes. Earnings are recorded per platform, and the Insights screen breaks miles and net pay down by platform so you can see which one is actually worth driving for.
Does it sell my location data?
No. Location is used to log your driving and nothing else, and it is never sold or shared with advertisers. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is and isn't collected.
Can I get my data out?
Yes. You can export a tax report as a PDF and your full trip list as a CSV at any time, from inside the app.
Please note. MileTruth is a record-keeping tool, not a tax advisor. Its deduction figures are estimates based on what you logged — consult a tax professional before filing.
