These terms govern your use of MileTruth, an app published by Baker Ventures LLC (“we,” “us”). By downloading, installing, or using MileTruth, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. MileTruth is in development and has not yet been released; these terms will govern the app as designed once it ships and may be updated before then.
MileTruth helps gig and delivery drivers track their driving, log mileage, and estimate net pay after vehicle costs. It automatically detects trips using your device’s location and motion sensors (with your permission), lets you record earnings, and generates mileage reports.
MileTruth is not tax, legal, or financial advice. Mileage rates, cost-per-mile estimates, and net-pay figures are estimates based on IRS-published rates and general vehicle-cost data, or data you enter yourself. We do not guarantee these figures will be accepted by the IRS or any other authority. Always consult a qualified tax professional about your specific situation before filing.
You’re responsible for the accuracy of any data you enter (earnings, vehicle details, trip classifications) and for reviewing auto-detected trips before relying on them for tax filing. You’re responsible for keeping any account credentials secure. See our Privacy Policy for how your data is collected, stored, and can be exported or deleted.
MileTruth has no paid subscription today, and nothing is charged. If a paid subscription is offered in the future, the plans and prices will be shown in the app before you purchase, and that screen is authoritative — plans and pricing may change over time. Any paid subscription would be billed and managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, auto-renew unless canceled, and would be subject to each store’s own refund and cancellation policies — we do not process payments or issue refunds directly. If you ever subscribe, you can manage or cancel it any time in your App Store or Play Store account settings.
You agree not to misuse MileTruth — including attempting to reverse-engineer the app, interfere with its normal operation, or use it in a way that violates applicable law.
MileTruth is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that trip detection will capture every trip or that any estimate will be accurate for your circumstances. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Baker Ventures LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including tax penalties, missed deductions, or reliance on any estimate the app produces.
We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated terms. We may suspend or terminate access for misuse of the app or violation of these terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
