RSUvest is built and operated by Baker Ventures LLC. This policy explains exactly what the app stores, what it does with it, and who else can see it.
RSUvest does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server for this app to talk to. Everything you enter stays in a database on your own device.
All of it is saved only in a local database on your device. Nothing here is uploaded.
No account or sign-in. No name, email address, phone number, or postal address. No location, camera, microphone, photo library, contacts, or calendar access. No advertising identifier, no device fingerprint. No analytics SDK and no crash-reporting SDK — the app does not include one.
There are none. RSUvest makes no network requests of any kind, so there is no service — ours or anyone else's — receiving your data. Nothing is sold, rented, or shared, and no data is used for advertising or tracking, because none of it ever leaves your device.
If you turn on reminders, the app schedules local notifications 14, 7, and 1 day before each vest. They are composed and delivered entirely on your device by iOS or Android — there is no push server and no push token. Because a reminder names the employer and the number of shares vesting, it may be visible on your lock screen; turn reminders off in your device settings if you would rather it not be.
The CSV export writes a file to your device and hands it to the system share sheet. Where it goes after that is entirely your choice — the app does not upload it anywhere, and we never receive a copy. Anything you then send through another app is governed by that app's privacy policy, not this one.
Your data is kept on your device until you remove it — we have no copy and no retention period to apply. Deleting a grant removes it and its stored values immediately. Deleting the app removes the entire database, including your share prices and withholding rate; there is no account or server copy to also delete, and no request you need to send us. You can revoke notification permission at any time in your device settings without losing any saved data.
RSUvest is a tool for people tracking their own equity compensation and is not directed at children. It collects no personal data from anyone, of any age.
RSUvest is a personal tracking tool. All values are estimates only, not financial, tax, or investment advice — verify against your own grant documents.
The withholding figure is a single flat rate you choose, applied to the gross value — not real tax brackets. Actual withholding depends on your employer's payroll setup, your W-4, your state, and whether the year's supplemental-wage threshold has been crossed. None of that is knowable on this device.
If what the app stores or contacts ever changes, this page is updated in the same app update that makes the change — never afterwards.
