What it does

A flip clock that fills the screen.Twelve-hour time with AM and PM, on cards that flip as the digits change. The type scales itself to whatever space the window has, so it is legible from a distance without any setting to adjust.
Repeating alarms, scheduled by iOS.Add an alarm, set it to every day or to the weekdays you pick, and it arrives as a standard iOS notification whether or not the app is running.
Twelve colour scenes.Pick the one that suits the room, from near-black for a bedroom to something brighter for a desk. Your choice is remembered next time you open it.
The date, and the temperature if you want it.Today's date sits under the clock. Tap the weather line once to allow location and it shows your local temperature and sky conditions from Open-Meteo.
What the alarms are, exactly. They are repeating iOS notifications, not a ringing alarm-clock screen. So: they need notification permission, and if you decline it nothing gets scheduled. Do Not Disturb, any Focus mode and the silent switch will silence them. They use the standard notification sound, there is no custom tone, and there is no snooze. If you need an alarm that will get you out of bed through a Focus mode, use the one built into iOS. TentClock's are for a repeating nudge you will actually hear in a quiet room.
And the screen. TentClock does not keep your display awake, so it dims and locks on your normal iOS auto-lock timer. To leave it running on a nightstand, plug the phone in and set Auto-Lock to Never in iOS Settings, under Display & Brightness.

Privacy, in one line

There is no account and no analytics. Your alarms and your scene are stored on the device. One thing leaves it: if you turn on the temperature, your coordinates go to Open-Meteo to fetch the reading, with no name or account attached. That is the app's only network request. The full detail is in the Privacy Policy.

Questions

Do the alarms go off when the app is closed?
Yes. Alarms are scheduled through iOS's own notification system, so they arrive whether or not TentClock is running. They need notification permission, and you have to allow it when asked or nothing will be scheduled. Do Not Disturb, any Focus mode and the silent switch will silence them, and there is no snooze.
Will the screen stay on all night?
Only if you tell iOS to. TentClock does not override your auto-lock, so the display dims and locks on your usual timer. If you want it up all night, plug the phone in and set Auto-Lock to Never in iOS Settings.
Can I switch to a 24-hour clock or Celsius?
Not yet. The clock shows 12-hour time with AM and PM, and the temperature is in Fahrenheit.
Why does it ask for my location?
Only to show the temperature where you are, and only when you tap the weather line. If you decline, the clock and the alarms work exactly the same and you just see no temperature.
Does the temperature keep updating?
No. It is fetched when you open the app, so a clock left out overnight shows the reading from whenever it last launched. Treat it as a glance, not a forecast.
Does it work without Wi-Fi?
The clock and the alarms work fully offline. Only the temperature needs a connection, and without one it simply does not appear.
Is there anything to buy?
No. TentClock is free, with all twelve scenes and every feature included. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase, no advertising and no account, so there is nothing to cancel or refund.
