Vocabdrift is a Lock Screen vocabulary app published by Baker Ventures LLC. It is built to work entirely on your device. This policy explains, plainly, what that means for your data.
Nothing. Vocabdrift does not have an account system, does not send any data to a server, and does not include any analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting software development kit. The app makes no network requests of any kind in normal use.
Vocabdrift stores the following locally, using Apple’s standard on-device storage APIs, solely to make the app work for you. None of it ever leaves your phone:
Vocabdrift can optionally schedule local notifications to remind you of new words. These are scheduled directly on your device using Apple’s notification system. No notification content is generated by or sent through a remote server — Vocabdrift has no server.
No one. Vocabdrift transmits nothing, so no third party — no analytics provider, no advertiser, no host, no processor — ever receives anything about you or your use of the app. Because no third party receives your data, there is none whose protection of it we would need to confirm. If that ever changes, this policy will name every recipient and state that each is contractually bound to protect your data to at least the standard set out here, and it will be updated before the change ships.
Word definitions come from WordNet® (Princeton University) and Wiktionary, both used under their respective open licenses with attribution. This is a content-licensing matter, not a data-privacy one — using the app does not share anything about you with either project.
Vocabdrift does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information from anyone at all.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds an optional feature that does involve a network request — this page will be updated first, with a new “last updated” date above, before that feature ships.
