These terms govern your use of DenialDesk (“the app”), built by Baker Ventures LLC. By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
The app helps you draft appeal-related documents and track deadlines using general, publicly sourced information (cited in-app to HealthCare.gov and CMS.gov). It is not legal, medical, or insurance advice, and using it does not create an attorney-client or any other professional relationship. Deadline computations are a starting point based on general federal rules — your specific plan, state, or situation may differ. Always verify every fact, date, and deadline against your own denial letter, plan documents, and (where it matters) a licensed professional before relying on anything the app produces.
The app requires no account. Everything you enter is stored on your own device. See the Privacy Policy for details.
The app is free, and it contains no in-app purchase. Every feature — identifying the denial type, the guidance, the appeal-deadline tracking, and generating and exporting an appeal letter — is available to everyone at no charge. There is no paid tier and no subscription: the app has nothing to sell you, takes no payment, and never asks for card or billing details. Nothing in it is locked, so there is nothing to unlock and no purchase to restore. If that ever changes, these terms will be updated to say exactly what changed before it takes effect.
The app is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Baker Ventures LLC is not liable for any outcome of an insurance appeal, medical bill dispute, or any decision made using information from the app, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
