Reconcile your trust account in minutes, not evenings.
IOLTAlign walks a solo or small-firm attorney through a clean three-way reconciliation — bank, book, and client ledgers agreeing to the penny — as often as you choose to run one.

What it does
True three-way match.IOLTAlign reconciles your bank statement, your trust ledger, and the sum of every client's individual ledger — and flags the moment the three don't agree.
Per-client ledgers that never go negative.Track each client's balance so you can see at a glance that no client's funds were ever overdrawn — the error bar exams warn about.
Find the difference fast. When the three don't tie out, IOLTAlign highlights outstanding items and uncleared transactions so you're hunting the gap, not re-adding columns.
A record you can hand to an auditor.Produce a dated three-way reconciliation report as a PDF every time you reconcile, so your file is ready if the bar ever asks.
Built for the small firm.No enterprise onboarding — enter your accounts, type in the period's transactions, and reconcile the same way every time.
How it works
- Set up your trust account and client ledgers — one ledger per client, and per matter if you choose.
- Enter or import the period's transactions and mark what's cleared the bank.
- Reconcile — IOLTAlign ties the three balances together and produces a report, or shows you exactly where they differ.
Questions
- Does IOLTAlign connect to my bank automatically?
- No. You enter transactions yourself, which is how your client data stays entirely on your phone. It never moves money and never touches a bank account.
- Does this make me compliant with my state bar?
- No. IOLTAlign helps you perform and document a three-way reconciliation, but trust-accounting rules vary by state and compliance is your professional responsibility. It is not legal or accounting advice.
- Can it handle multiple client matters?
- Yes. You keep a separate ledger per client, and per matter if you choose, which roll up into the trust total.
- What if my reconciliation doesn't balance?
- IOLTAlign shows the outstanding and uncleared items driving the difference so you can find and correct the entry.
- Is my client financial data secure?
- Your data is stored for your use in the app and is not sold. Review the in-app privacy policy and your duty of confidentiality before entering client details.
- Do I need special accounting knowledge?
- You should understand basic trust-accounting duties. IOLTAlign structures the reconciliation but does not replace your training or your accountant.
Please note. IOLTAlign is a calculator and record-keeping tool. It is not legal or accounting advice, and it never states that your account is compliant with any jurisdiction's rule — it reports whether your three balances tie out, and if not, where they don't. Trust-accounting rules vary by state and compliance remains your professional responsibility; your state bar's rules are the authority, and a mismatch you can't explain is worth reviewing with your bar's resources or an accountant. IOLTAlign does not move, hold, or transfer money. Review your own duty of confidentiality before entering client details.
