Baker Ventures Studio › RiderDeck
The stage plot the venue actually asked for.
Drag your band onto a stage. The input list and the rider page build themselves from what is on it, and the whole thing exports as one PDF you can send from the van.
RiderDeck · an app by Baker Ventures LLC · free, no account, no in-app purchases
Status: not released yet. RiderDeck is built and in testing. It is not on the App Store at the time of writing, so there is nothing to download from this page yet. This page and the
support page are here first, as they should be.
What it does
Every instrument, not six.Seventy-one items across thirteen families: vocals, electric and acoustic guitars, bass and upright, keys and organ, full and four-mic drum kits, percussion, horns, woodwind, strings, DJ and playback — plus the stage furniture a real plot needs, like wedges, drum fills, IEM packs, amps, risers and power drops.
The channel list writes itself. Each item on the stage carries what it needs on the desk, so the input list is derived from the plot rather than typed twice. Channels number themselves downstage first, then stage left to right, with 48V and DI flagged and monitor mixes marked. Move the drummer and the numbering follows.
Resize and rotate anything, and nothing falls off the deck.Every item moves, resizes and rotates. If a rotation would take an item past the edge of the stage, it is scaled to fit instead of clipping — which is a tested property of the layout, not a hope.
It prints right. One landscape layout on US Letter or A4, laid out to fit inside the printable margins at any stage size. Page one is the plot, page two is the input list and your rider.
No signal required. The app makes no network requests at all. It works the same in a basement venue as on Wi-Fi, because it never needed a connection.
How it works
- Set your stage size in feet, and your band name and contact line.
- Tap Add and place the band. Drag to move, pinch the corner handle to resize, rotate from the panel.
- Add your rider notes — power, backline, hospitality.
- Export the PDF and send it however you like: Mail, Messages, AirDrop, Files, or straight to a printer.
Privacy, in one line
The app collects nothing and sends nothing. There is no account, no analytics and no network request of any kind — your plot lives in a database on your phone. The full detail is in the Privacy Policy.
Questions
- Is there anything to buy?
- No. RiderDeck is free, with every instrument and both paper sizes included. No subscription, no in-app purchase, no advertising.
- Can I save more than one plot?
- Not in this version. It keeps one plot, saved as you work. Export the PDF for a lineup you want to keep, then edit the plot for the next one.
- Is there an Android version?
- Not yet.
