Steadychart is a private, local-first symptom tracker for people managing a chronic illness or an autoimmune condition, published by Baker Ventures LLC. You log symptoms and severity day to day, review your own history over time, and export a summary to bring to an appointment. This policy explains what the app does with what you log. It is written to match exactly what the app does, and it is kept as a standalone document because Washington’s My Health My Data Act and the FTC’s Health Breach Notification Rule both require that.
Steadychart is a general wellness logging tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose or treat anything, does not predict flares, and never calculates or suggests a medication dose.
Steadychart doesn’t have an account, doesn’t have a server, and doesn’t send your data anywhere. Everything you log stays on your device.
Nothing is collected by us. “Collect” here means data leaving your device to reach Baker Ventures LLC or any third party. Steadychart stores what you log — the symptoms you choose to track, a severity for each, an overall rating for the day, and an optional note — in a local database on your device only, and uses it for one purpose: to show you your own history inside the app.
There is no account, no sign-in, no device identifier, no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, and no advertising SDK in this app. The app makes no network request that carries anything you logged.
Nothing, unless you choose to export. The Export feature builds a CSV file, a JSON backup, and/or a clinician-ready PDF and hands it to your operating system’s own share sheet — from there, where it goes is entirely your choice (emailing it to yourself, saving it to Files, or sharing it with a clinician). Steadychart has no visibility into, and no involvement in, what you do with that exported file.
If you turn on the optional daily reminder in Settings, Steadychart schedules a local notification on your device at the time you pick. It is scheduled by your device, not sent from a server, and its text is fixed — it never contains a symptom, a severity, a note, or anything else you logged. Your reminder time is stored on your device alongside the rest of your data. Turning the reminder off cancels it.
We never sell your data — there is no data to sell, since none of it ever reaches us. We never share it with a third party. We never use it for advertising. We never predict, diagnose, or make any treatment recommendation from it; it is a tracking tool only.
No one. Steadychart transmits nothing, so there is no third party — no analytics vendor, no advertising network, no cloud host, no processor of any kind — that receives anything you log. Because no third party ever receives your data, there is no third party whose protection of it we would need to confirm; if that ever changes, this policy will be rewritten before that version ships, and it will name every recipient and state that each is contractually bound to protect your data to at least the standard set out here.
Your data lives only on your device, so you control it directly:
If a future version adds an account, a sync feature, or any third-party SDK capable of transmitting log content, this policy will be rewritten and republished before that version ships.
Steadychart is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.
This app is offered in the United States only at launch.
