Steadychart is a simple, private way to log symptoms day to day and review your own history over time — so you walk into an appointment with a record, not a guess.

We read every message and reply personally. For a bug, include your device and OS version, what you were doing, what you expected versus what happened, and a screenshot — that usually points us straight at it.

Please note. Steadychart is a general wellness logging tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, predict, or interpret your symptoms clinically, and it never calculates or suggests a medication dose — for dosing, talk to your prescriber. Any pattern it shows is simply your own entries organized over time, and can be incomplete or misleading on its own. Please bring anything that concerns you to your doctor, who can put it in context. If you are in immediate danger or having a medical emergency, contact your local emergency number or a crisis line right now — Steadychart is a journalling tool and cannot help in a crisis.

Frequently asked questions

Does Steadychart diagnose anything or tell me what I have?
No. It's a general wellness logging tool. It never offers a diagnosis, predicts flares, or interprets your symptoms clinically. Anything that concerns you belongs with your doctor, who can put it in context.
Can it tell me how much medication to take?
No — never. Steadychart can record medications you took or skipped, but it does not calculate or suggest any dose. For dosing, talk to your prescriber.
Where is my health data stored?
On your device only. Steadychart has no account and no studio server. Your symptoms, notes, and severities stay on your phone; we never receive them and nothing is uploaded to us. They're part of your iCloud or Google backup if that's on, and deleting the app deletes them. Nothing leaves your device unless you export it yourself.
Is my data sold or shared?
No. It is never sold, and with no server there's nothing to share. If sync is ever added, it will be opt-in and end-to-end encrypted.
Can I export a summary for my doctor?
Yes — that's exactly what the export is for. Generate the summary in the app and use the share sheet to email it, save it to Files or Drive, or print it to bring along. Since your data lives only on your phone, exporting is also a good way to keep your own copy.
What happens if the app shuts down someday?
Your data is already on your device and you can export a full CSV, a JSON file, and a clinician PDF at any time — so you never lose your history the way people did when other trackers closed.
How do I move my data to a new phone?
Steadychart exports a CSV, a JSON file, and a clinician PDF. It does not import, so export before you switch phones and keep the file. There is currently no way to load it back into the app on a new device.
Why are there no streaks?
No streaks, and nothing counts the days you miss. There is one optional daily reminder in Settings. If you turn it on it says the same fixed line at the time you pick, and it never names anything you logged.
Can it remind me to log each day?
It can, if you want one. Turn on reminders in Settings and allow notifications for Steadychart (Settings → Notifications → Steadychart) so a nudge shows up at the time you pick. If reminders aren't appearing, check that notification permission and tell us your device — we'll help sort it.
What do the trend insights mean?
It compares the average of your overall ratings on days you logged a symptom against the days you didn't, and prints both day counts next to the result. It runs no statistical test and says 'we do not have enough data yet' until there are at least 10 logged days and 5 on each side.
Can I track diabetes-related readings?
Not as a number. You can add a custom tracked item — name it anything, including "Blood glucose" — but like every tracked item it only takes a 0-3 severity rating, not a reading, so there's no field for an actual glucose value or a dose. Steadychart will never advise on insulin or any dose.
The app looks wrong about my health, or a pattern seems off.
Steadychart only reflects what you log — it's a private journal, not a medical device, and it doesn't diagnose or interpret. Any pattern it shows is just your own entries organized over time. Please bring anything that concerns you to your doctor. If you think the app is displaying your entries incorrectly, tell us what you saw and we'll investigate.
Is there anything to buy, cancel, or refund?
No. Steadychart is free — no subscription, no in-app purchase, no paywall, and no advertising — so there is nothing to restore, cancel, or get a refund on. If that ever changes, this page will describe real cancellation, refund, and restore steps first.
Something's broken. How do I report it?
Email us with: (1) device and OS version, (2) what you were doing (logging a symptom, viewing history, exporting…), (3) expected vs. actual, and (4) a screenshot with anything personal blurred.
