Your notes. Their slide.
Stand your iPhone upright between you and one other person. They see the slide, turned around so it reads upright from their side. You see your speaker notes and a timer.

What it does
Two facing halves of one screen. The half pointing at the other person shows the current slide, turned 180 degrees so it reads upright from where they are sitting. No more sliding the phone across the table and then narrating from memory.
Your notes stay on your half.Speaker notes sit in a pane only you can see and scroll. Their half shows the slide and its position in the deck — Slide 2 / 4 — and nothing else.
A timer with a target.Elapsed time you can pause, with optional targets of 5, 10, 15 or 20 minutes. It turns red once you pass the target you set.
Bring your own slides.Four sample slides are built in, or import photos from your library. Reorder them, remove them, and type speaker notes on any slide before you start.
Nothing leaves the phone. No account, no sign-in, no analytics and no network requests. The only permission it asks for is your photo library, and only when you import.
How it works
- Add your slides — keep the sample deck or import photos from your library, then type notes on any of them.
- Stand the phone upright between you, on its end. The screen splits into two halves, and the half facing them is turned around for them.
- Drive it from your half with Prev and Next. Both halves move together, and the timer runs where only you can see it.

Before you download. FlipStage does not save decks yet. Photos you import, notes you type and any reordering last until you close the app, and then it returns to the built-in sample slides. It also does not film, record, or scroll text automatically — it puts a slide on one side and your notes on the other.
Questions
- How do I hold the phone?
- Upright. The two-sided view opens when the window is taller than it is wide, so stand the phone on its end between the two of you. The top half faces them and is turned around for them; the bottom half faces you.
- Can the other person see my speaker notes?
- No. Their half shows the slide and its position in the deck, and nothing else. The notes pane is on your half only, and their half is not tappable.
- Does FlipStage save my deck?
- Not yet. Photos you import, notes you type and any reordering last until you close the app, then it returns to the built-in sample slides. If you need a deck to survive a restart, wait for that update.
- Can I import a PowerPoint, Keynote or PDF?
- No. Slides come from your photo library — you pick photos and each one becomes a slide. There is also a four-slide sample deck built in.
- Does it need an account or an internet connection?
- Neither. There is no sign-in and the app makes no network calls. Nothing you type or import leaves the device.
- What does it cost?
- FlipStage is free. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase and no advertising.
