Every lien deadline, with the statute it came from.
NoticeGuard turns your job's dates into a countdown for each statutory step — preliminary notice, notice of intent, lien filing — and shows you the section of the code and the verbatim text each date was read from, so you can check it.

What it does
Every deadline, counting down.Enter a job's first-furnishing or contract date and NoticeGuard shows the days remaining to each statutory step, sorted by what's due next.
State-aware windows.Pick the state the job is in and the app applies that state's notice and filing periods, so a job in one state doesn't inherit another's clock.
Reminders before it's too late.Get on-device alerts ahead of each deadline — early enough to send a notice or file, not the morning it expires.
One place for every active job.Track all your open jobs at once with a dashboard that surfaces the nearest deadline across your whole book of work.
Your record, exportable.Export any job's deadlines as a calendar file (.ics) for Apple Calendar, Google Calendar, or anything else that reads one.
How it works
- Add the job — the state, your role, and the job's dates.
- See the clock — NoticeGuard lays out each deadline with days remaining.
- Act on the reminder — on-device alerts 14, 7 and 1 day before each deadline.
Questions
- Does NoticeGuard file the lien for me?
- No. It tracks and reminds you of deadlines; you or your attorney prepare and file the actual documents with the county or court.
- Is this legal advice?
- No. NoticeGuard is an organizing and reminder tool, not a law firm, and does not provide legal advice. Confirm any deadline with a construction attorney before relying on it.
- Which states are supported?
- All 50 states and the District of Columbia. Each one carries its own statutory periods and citations, and you can browse any state's citations in the app without starting a job. Where a state models no deadline for the role you picked, the app says so on screen rather than showing a blank.
- What if my deadline calculation is wrong?
- Statutory periods have exceptions for holidays, weekends, and disputed first-work dates. Treat dates as a working estimate and verify critical deadlines independently.
- Does my job data leave my phone?
- Job records are stored for your use in the app and are not sold. See the in-app privacy policy for specifics.
- Do I need a subscription?
- No. NoticeGuard is free right now. Deadlines, reminders, documents, calendar export and unlimited jobs are all included, and there is no in-app purchase of any kind.
Please note. NoticeGuard is an organizing, calculating, and reminder tool — not a law firm — and it does not provide legal advice. It reports what the statute says; it does not tell you what to do and it does not file anything on your behalf. Lien law is complex and state-specific, and statutory periods have exceptions for holidays, weekends, and disputed first-work dates. Treat every date the app shows as a working estimate, and confirm anything you rely on with a construction attorney in your state before you act on it.
