These terms are the agreement between you and Baker Ventures LLC ("we," "us"), a Utah limited liability company, covering your use of the Steadychart mobile app ("the app"). By installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app — deleting it ends the agreement, and there is no account to close.
Your privacy is covered by a separate document, the Privacy Policy, which is kept standalone on purpose: Washington's My Health My Data Act requires a privacy policy that is not folded into any other legal text. Nothing in these terms overrides it.
General wellness only: no diagnosis, no flare prediction, no medication or dosing advice.
Steadychart is a daily symptom log. You pick one overall rating for the day, tap a severity for each symptom you track, and optionally add a note. It shows that back to you as history, a 14-day chart, and plain comparisons, and it can export what you logged. That is the entire product.
This is the same thing the app tells you in-product, and these terms repeat it rather than restate it differently, so the two can never drift apart:
Said plainly, and as a term of this agreement:
Decisions about your health are between you and a qualified clinician. Bring the export if it helps that conversation; don't let it replace it.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use one copy of Steadychart on devices you own or control, for your own personal symptom tracking. That licence is all you get: we keep ownership of the app itself — its code, design, name, the symptom taxonomy, and everything else in it — and nothing here transfers any of that to you.
Everything you log belongs to you. We do not, and cannot, see it: Steadychart has no account, no server, and makes no network calls, so your entries live only in local storage on your own device.
Use Steadychart for your own personal wellness tracking. Don't:
Steadychart is free. There is no subscription, no in-app purchase, and no paywall in the app, and it contains no advertising. If that ever changes, it will change in a future version with its own terms shown to you before you buy anything — this version does not obligate you to pay for anything.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any calculation, chart, reminder, or export will be correct, complete, or delivered on time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Baker Ventures LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any lost data, lost profits, or any health outcome, decision, or course of action taken or not taken on the basis of anything the app shows or exports. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for it (which, for this version, is nothing) or US$50.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law — including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, in which case they apply to you only as far as that jurisdiction permits, and you may have rights under your local consumer-protection law that these terms cannot take away.
You can end this agreement at any time by deleting the app; that also deletes your data from the device. We may stop offering, updating, or supporting Steadychart at any time, and may suspend or terminate your licence if you breach these terms. Because everything is on your device, the app keeps working on an installed copy even if we stop distributing it — but we are not obliged to keep it compatible with future OS versions. The sections on your data, no warranty, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Steadychart is offered in the United States only at launch. Where mandatory consumer-protection law of your place of residence applies, it applies in addition to this.
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above and describe what changed. Material changes will be surfaced in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
