FlirtGym is an iPhone app for practicing dating conversations before you have them. You run practice chats with AI characters across texting, dating-app, and in-person scenarios. Every message you write is scored with specific coaching on what worked and what to fix. You can also get honest feedback on your dating profile and photos. Free to download; FlirtGym Pro is $14.99/month or $59.99/year. iOS 15.1+. Adults 18 and over.
How does FlirtGym work?
You pick a scenario, and an AI character plays the other side of the conversation. You write the messages yourself. When the session ends, every message you sent comes back scored, with a specific note on what landed and what to change.
Three things make the practice realistic rather than decorative. Characters have their own personalities and respond differently to the same line. They disengage or end the chat when your effort drops, so a practice conversation can be lost the way a real one can. And a private Coach sits inside the session: ask for a hint or the exact line to send, and the character never knows you asked.
Outside of practice sessions, the Wingman tools work on your real conversations. Paste a screenshot of a profile and get an opener. Paste a stalled thread and get a reply that restarts it.
What makes FlirtGym different from other rizz apps?
Other apps write the line for you. FlirtGym scores the line you wrote. That difference determines what you leave with: a message to send tonight, or a skill that works the next time the app is not open.
| Typical rizz / reply app | FlirtGym | |
|---|---|---|
| Core loop | It writes, you send | You write, it scores and coaches |
| What you leave with | A line | A skill that works when the app is closed |
| Practice | None | Timed scenarios, lessons, challenges, streaks |
| Feedback | Rarely | Every message scored with specifics |
| When you are stuck mid-chat | Generate another line | A private Coach gives a hint or the exact line |
| Failure | Not modeled | Characters disengage when effort drops |
FlirtGym includes generation tools too. The difference is which one is the point. Full comparison with reply generators.
What can you actually do in the app?
- Practice conversations with AI characters — texting, dating apps, in-person, and cold approach.
- Get every message scored, with a specific note on what landed and what to change.
- Ask the Coach mid-chat for a hint or the exact line. She never knows you asked.
- Rate My Profile and Rate My Look — specific feedback on your photos and bio.
- Decode a profile or rescue a stalled chat — paste a screenshot, get an opener or a reply.
- Stay consistent with lessons, timed quizzes, challenges, and a streak.
Who is FlirtGym for?
FlirtGym is for adults who freeze on openers, overthink every text, and watch good matches go quiet. If the gap between what you meant to say and what you actually sent is the problem, this is built for that gap.
It is not a dating app. There is no feed, no matches, no other users, no audience, and nothing you do is visible to anyone. The point of practicing somewhere private is that you can be bad at it first.
It is also not a confidence-affirmation app. Scores are honest, characters disengage when you coast, and profile feedback tells you what is not working. That is the value: finding out here rather than there.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is FlirtGym?
FlirtGym is an iPhone app for practicing dating conversations before you have them. You run practice chats with AI characters, every message you write is scored with specific coaching, and you can get honest feedback on your dating profile and photos. It is free to download, requires iOS 15.1 or later, and is rated for adults 18 and over.
How is FlirtGym different from a rizz app or an AI reply generator?
Most rizz apps write a line for you to copy and paste. FlirtGym scores the messages you write yourself and runs timed practice scenarios, so the skill stays with you when the app is closed. FlirtGym does include a Coach that hands you a line when you are stuck, but generation is the backup, not the product.
Does FlirtGym write my messages for me?
It can, but that is not the main use. The in-session Coach gives you a hint or an exact line when you are stuck, and the Wingman tools suggest an opener from a screenshot. The primary loop is that you write the message, FlirtGym scores it, and you find out specifically what worked and what to fix.
What can I practice in FlirtGym?
Texting conversations, dating app exchanges, in-person scenarios, and cold approach. There are also structured lessons, timed quizzes, challenges, and a streak. AI characters disengage or end the chat when your effort drops, so a practice conversation can be lost the same way a real one can.
How much does FlirtGym cost?
FlirtGym is free to download. FlirtGym Pro unlocks unlimited practice, all coaching tools, and every scenario, at $14.99 per month or $59.99 per year. There is no free trial.
Does FlirtGym work with Tinder, Hinge, and Bumble?
FlirtGym is not connected to any dating app and never requests account access. You paste text or a screenshot of a conversation or profile from any app, and FlirtGym returns an opener, a reply, or feedback. It works alongside Tinder, Hinge, Bumble, or anything else.
Is FlirtGym only for men?
The scenarios and coaching were written primarily with men in mind, and most users are men. Anyone 18 or over can use it. The underlying skills, opening a conversation, keeping it going, and reading tone, are not gender specific.
Are my conversations private?
There is no feed, no matches, no other users, and no audience. Practice chats are between you and the AI. You can remove your data at any time using Delete Account in Settings. The privacy policy covers how data is handled.
What devices does FlirtGym run on?

Who makes FlirtGym?
